About Rohit Chacko
Introducing Rohit Chacko: Film/TV and Game Music Composer from South India. With a piano, guitar, and ukulele as his companions, Rohit's journey began as a self-taught musician, honing his skills from an early age. In 2018, he was selected for a music artist residency program in Kazakhstan, where he immersed himself in the country's ethnic music and collaborated with native musicians. In 2019, after graduating from True School of Music Mumbai, he began his music career full-time as a composer for movies, documentaries, advertisements, jingles, and indie projects in India.

Rohit was also a key member of an Indian English folk band named 'INGA', performing across India and internationally in countries such as Kazakhstan and Sri Lanka. His music transcends borders, blending influences from world music, Indian blues, Middle Eastern jazz, tribal house, and electronic music. As a pianist, Rohit achieved merit in the Trinity Grade 8 Classical and Jazz Piano level.

In 2024, Rohit graduated from the Music Scoring for Screen & Stage program at Sheridan College, Canada. Currently based in Canada, he collaborates with filmmakers from diverse backgrounds, seeking to enrich his compositions by connecting with local filmmakers across the globe. His journey continues to explore new creative avenues, driven by a passion for musical storytelling and cultural exchange.
